About the Position:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
(COTA) to provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed
Occupational Therapist. This 1099 contract role allows for flexible scheduling across school-
based, in-home, and clinic settings.
Responsibilities:
Implement OT treatment plans as directed by supervising OT
Provide direct intervention to clients in schools, homes, and clinic settings
Document session outcomes and progress notes
Collaborate with supervising OT, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Maintain compliance with professional and ethical standards
Qualifications:
Active Florida COTA license
Ability to travel between service locations
Reliable transportation
Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
Compensation (1099)
$30–$45 per hour, based on experience, setting, and caseload
