Some requirements are:
- GED/High School Diploma or higher
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation to and from work (company van will be available in due time)
Projects you will be working on:
- Smart home automation including the integration of music, televisions, lighting, climate, window shades, fireplaces, pool systems, security, cameras, touchpanels, etc.
- Home theaters
- Whole-house/outdoor music
- Intrusion alarms
- Surveillance
- WiFi network infrastructures
- Mostly residential/some commercial
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and troubleshoot audio and video systems across residential or facility environments, including wiring, cabling, and mounting of components.
- Diagnose hardware and software issues, perform routine maintenance, and replace defective parts using hand tools and test equipment (e.g., voltmeter) per schematics and electrical safety standards.
- Configure control interfaces, integrate home automation or security systems, and ensure proper system performance through testing and calibration.
- Document work, manage project scope and timelines, and communicate progress with clients and team members.
- Adhere to safety protocols, maintain clean workspaces, and ensure proper handling of low-voltage and electrical components.
