1. Perform selected clinical and administrative duties.
2. Prepare patients for examination and treatment.
3. Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments. Utilize knowledge of sterile technique and infection control procedures required to clean and disinfect rooms and equipment, sterilize instruments as needed.
4. Assist providers in minor surgeries/procedures
5. Pain Management experience is a plus, perform the use of the c-arm under fluoroscopy
6. Assist with scheduling of tests, treatments and referrals.
7. Screen telephone calls for referral to nurse or provider or referral specialist as indicated.
9. Maintain patient files, records and other information in a professional manner following policy and procedures regarding documentation.
10.Administer medications as directed.
11. Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
12. Follow the practice's guidelines related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), designed to prevent or detect unauthorized disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI).
13. Maintain strict confidentiality.
14. Use oral and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas in a clear, positive manner that is consistent with the practice's mission

16. Implement job responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the Practice's Mission and Code of Ethics.
