Nguyen's Kitchen is a modern Asian eatery that serves delicious food in a fast-casual environment. We are now hiring LINE COOKS at our location in Carson! We are in need of candidates with a positive, motivated attitude that would love to grow with the company. Our open hours are 10am-1am 7 days per week. Compensation:
- $18.00/hr Starting Pay + tips with opportunities for a raise every 6 months
- Raises are based on Performance, Attendance and Overall Contribution
- Starting Wage will depend on experience
- Pay Range accounts for OVERTIME pay
Requirements:
- Reliable weekly availability, preference given if available weekends
- Proactive and driven personality
- Able to follow instructions from training
- Some experience using a flat top grill and deep fryer
- Able to maintain a clean, clutter free, and organized station at all times
- Prep experience required
- MUST BE available LATE NIGHT SHIFT (5:30pm-1:00am)
- Availability will be given preference
Responsibilities:
- Operate kitchen equipment such as a toaster, flat top grill, deep fryer, stovetop, and oven to prepare customer orders
- Maintain cleanliness of all workstations and assist with dish washing to ensure a safe, efficient, and sanitary workplace.
- Prep sauces, teas, and meat in large batches for later use
- Wash, cut, and prepare vegetables for later use
- Lift 20-50lbs as needed
