Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Installation Technicians to support a large-scale fiber infrastructure project. This role involves fiber patching, cable installation, and connectivity work within a fast-paced technical environment.
Candidates must have strong fiber experience, excellent organizational skills, and a dependable work ethic. Technicians must also be comfortable working on ladders and following all site safety requirements.
Work Shift: 11pm-7am
Responsibilities
- Perform fiber patching from:
- Patch panel to patch panel
- Patch panel to device
- Device to device
- Install and organize bundled fiber cabling
- Maintain clean and accurate cable management
- Follow all site safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Work efficiently within a team environment
Requirements
- Previous fiber installation or data center cabling experience required
- Strong understanding of fiber patching and connectivity
- Ability to climb ladders and work in active technical environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Previous central office / data center environment preferred
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
PPE Requirements
Candidates must provide:
- Over-the-ankle, ESD-rated composite toe safety boots
Additional PPE will be provided on site.
Compensation
- Pay Rate: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour (depending on experience level)
- Multiple shifts may be available depending on location
