Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly team member to join our Wetzel's team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a strong attention to detail, as you will be striving to uphold Wetzel's Pretzels high standards. You will learn to prep, bake, and serve Wetzel's delicious world famous pretzels in a fun, vibrant, fast paced, environment! We love to have a good time and work hard at Wetzel's and are looking for the ideal candidates to complete our team! We sample our delicious product to customers! You must be comfortable talking to people and have a great attitude. This is a great part time job for a stay at home parent, or a retired person. Of course, applicants of any age are welcome (16+).
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
- Sample product to potential customers.
- Accurately process sales transactions using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
- Maintain knowledge of food handling and safety standards to ensure compliance.
- Assist in food preparation.
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Proficient in basic math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Must be able to work some nights and weekends!
Pay is $10-12/hr Plus tips! (adds$2-3 an hour)
