Position Summary
The Assistant Spa Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the spa while delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role partners closely with the Business Operations Manager, Medical Leadership, and Spa Owner to drive sales, maintain operational excellence, coach team members, and ensure the clinic consistently meets performance goals. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in the beauty, wellness, or medical aesthetics industry who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a wellness, beauty, medical spa, or healthcare environment preferred.
- Experience with lead management, CRM systems, and high-ticket consultative sales.
- Membership sales, financing, or credit card sales experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Zenoti or a comparable booking and practice management platform preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other business software.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
- Excellent conflict resolution and guest de-escalation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily management and operations of the spa.
- Partner with Medical Leadership to ensure clinical and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with the Spa Owner and Business Operations Manager to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Report directly to the Business Operations Manager.
- Train, onboard, and mentor Spa Coordinators and new associates.
- Support front desk operations and provide Spa Coordinator coverage as needed.
- Manage provider and front desk schedules to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage sales leads through the CRM to improve conversion rates.
- Coach team members on customer service, sales performance, and operational standards.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences while professionally resolving escalated concerns.
- Conduct clinic audits to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
- Oversee facility appearance, cleanliness, organization, and maintenance.
- Delegate daily operational responsibilities and cleaning routines to team members.
- Maintain inventory, operational supplies, and clinic readiness.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture.
Schedule
- Primarily Monday–Friday
- Must be available for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays to support special events, staffing needs, and business operations.
Compensation & Benefits
- $24–$28 per hour, based on experience.
