Job Overview
Join our dynamic team at Protect-all, Inc. We are a world-class manufacturer of premium/quality films. This position will perform predictive and preventive maintenance on equipment used in the production of thermal laminating and plastic packaging materials. Additionally, this position will also perform minor-routine mechanical, plumbing, building maintenance, and other related activities throughout our facility. Attention to detail with a commitment to quality is required. Scheduled work week is Monday – Friday. We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate sought after skills and have a desire to be part of our team.
What We’re Looking For:
3–5 years in mechanical/electrical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong troubleshooting of mechanical systems (motors, bearings, hydraulics) and electrical systems (wiring, PLCs, control panels a plus).
Motor Drives and Controls installation
Electrical and Conduit
Knowledge of extruders, slitters, and lamination equipment is a plus
Welding and Metal Fabrication
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Physical Demands: frequent walking, standing, climbing up and down platforms/ladders, bending, squatting, twisting and extensive reaching. Must be able to drive a forklift and lift 10 – 25 lbs. frequently, 25 – 70 lbs. occasionally, and utilize the buddy system for heavier weights.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with OSHA standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Adaptability: Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with shifts/on-call as needed.
