Job Summary
Proof Bread is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House / Customer Service Associate to join our Shea Boulevard team.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of service, product quality, and store presentation. You'll prepare espresso beverages, assist customers with product recommendations, and help create a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back, maintaining and ensuring that the Front of House is well-kept and properly maintained.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming guest experience.
- Prepare and serve espresso beverages and other café offerings to Proof Bread standards.
- Ensure displays, grab-and-go products, and merchandise are fully stocked, well-presented, and rotated using FIFO.
- Process customer transactions, assist with special orders, answer phone inquiries, and support daily store operations.
- Accurately operate POS, handle cash, and complete end-of-day/shift reporting
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Support opening and closing procedures, inventory replenishment, and daily operational workflows.
- Promote Proof Bread products through knowledgeable recommendations to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
- Work collaboratively with the bakery team to ensure efficient operations and uphold Proof Bread's standards of quality and hospitality.
Prerequisites and Requirements:
- Proven guest service experience in a bakery, café, or similar setting preferred but not necessary.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Must have reliable transportation to the relevant location
- Must be reliable and dependable to show up for work according to work schedule and regularly available for weekends and holidays
- Must understand service flows and deadlines surrounding daily tasks and facility maintenance
- Demonstrate proactive, frequent, and transparent communication with colleagues and leaders
- Possess valid food handler’s certification
- Must be able to lift items up to 30lbs
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
