What We are Looking For:
We are seeking compassionate caregivers who feel a genuine calling to serve. Those who understand that the overnight hours are not “quiet shifts,” but sacred opportunities to protect dignity, offer reassurance, and ensure safety when vulnerability is at its highest. Being present in the stillness of the night — providing calm, comfort, and steady support — is deeply meaningful work.
This is not simply a job to fill time. It is an opportunity to stand in the gap for someone who may be confused, anxious, or afraid in the dark — and to be the steady presence that brings them peace.
- At least one year of professional caregiving experience
- Experience working overnight shifts, with the ability to remain alert, attentive, and responsive
- Hands-on experience supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia (strongly preferred)
- A patient, calm, and dependable nature — especially during moments of confusion or agitation
- A genuine passion for serving the elderly, infirm, and those living with dementia
- A positive attitude and strong sense of reliability and accountability
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also functioning independently overnight
Job Summary
- Overnight supervision and Q2hr safety checks
- Assisting with toileting, hygiene, repositioning, and incontinence care
- Responding to resident needs
- Managing dementia-related behaviors with patience and redirection
- Documenting observations and reporting changes in condition
- Light laundry duties (washing, drying, folding resident linens and clothing)
- Maintaining a clean and peaceful environment
