Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that suit their needs
- Process cash transactions accurately, including handling cash drawers and performing cash management duties
- Conduct retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, and returns with precision
- Utilize retail software and data entry systems to record sales, customer information, and product details
- Support retail lending activities by explaining financial options, loan processing, and collections when applicable
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment
- Handle inquiries about banking or financial services, guiding customers through available options and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or retail store environments is highly preferred
- Basic math skills including cash handling, cash drawer balancing, and retail math calculations
- Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently using 10 key typing techniques
- Knowledge of banking or financial services, including loan processing or collections, is advantageous
- Must be reliable with good attention to detail and a proactive approach to assisting customers
