About Wayback Burgers:
Wayback Burgers is a family owned and operated restaurant group based in Memphis, TN that specializes in burgers, sandwiches, salads, and milkshakes. We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and motivated individual to join our burger shop team! As a team member, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious burgers, fries, and other menu items to our customers
Job Duties:
- Take orders from customers while paying attention to details such as food preferences, dietary restrictions, and size/style of dishes
- Prepare food to cook burgers and other menu items to order
- Operate a cash register handle cash and credit cards while keeping a pleasant demeanor and- a positive attitude towards customers
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Understand our culture at Wayback Burgers and do whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience
- Balancing high volume with high quality
- Read tickets to determine what/when items need to be prepared
- Clean station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces to ensure station is clean and sanitized at all times
- Participating in ongoing training and development
- Greet customers as they enter and provide an exceptional experience
- Comply with all health and safety standards of the store
- Answer any questions about our menu or products
- Answer any requests from customers (e.g. finding products, answering questions about products, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned (e.g., cross-training, inventory control, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Availability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
