Peninsula Pediatric Therapy, P.C., based in Carmel, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide pediatric therapy services in Hollister.
This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with children (birth–21) with neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients using appropriate physical therapy techniques
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve strength, balance, coordination, posture, and mobility
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care
- Educate families and caregivers on home programs and equipment use
- Recommend adaptive equipment, orthotics, and positioning strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor patient progress
- Assist with discharge planning and referrals as needed
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in California (in good standing)
- Experience or interest in pediatric physical therapy
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
- Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
