If you've worked in carpentry, construction, fencing, or another skilled trade, your experience may work well for this position.
We don't expect you to know everything about road signs on day one. We do expect you to show up, work hard, and care about quality work. If that sounds like you, we'll teach you the rest. Must have a Class A Driver's license or willing to obtain one.

Competitive hourly pay plus the opportunity for prevailing wage, ($70,000-$85,000+/season year) Prevailing wage (up to $70.00+/hr.)

What will you be doing in this role?
This may not include all the work examples given, nor does the list include all that may be assigned.
- The Sign Installer performs basic level technical and/or skilled permanent sign work. Under general supervision an employee in this role performs installs permanent regulator and warning signage along state highways, county roads, and rural/suburban streets. (Stop signs, street signs, curve, etc.)
- Installs mast arm signage on traffic signal mast arm poles
- Salvage/removal of mailboxes
- Assist with Traffic Control duties if required
We want you to join the Safety Signs, LLC team if you can answer yes to the following:
- Must have a valid Class A Driver's License
- Clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of construction experience.
- Must have working knowledge of English sufficient enough to read, write, speak and understand oral and written information.
- Must have good mechanical aptitude.
- You must be willing and able to lift up to 50+ pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects and/or tools weighing 50+ pounds.
- You must be willing and able to walk or stand to a significant degree on rough terrain.
Qualified candidates who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment drug test (safety sensitive position) and criminal background check.
