Job Description:
Unity Bulldogs Pet Grooming is a boutique, cage-free grooming salon focused on quality, professionalism, and personalized care. We are looking for a high-energy, outgoing, and professional Front Desk Receptionist who loves dogs, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
This role is active and hands-on — not a sitting desk job. The receptionist is the first point of contact for our clients and plays a key role in daily operations, communication, scheduling, and overall client experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and dogs in a friendly, professional manner
- Deliver excellent customer service in person, by phone, and via text
- Answer phone calls, send and respond to text messages professionally
- Manage, organize, and maintain the grooming schedule
- Confirm appointments in advance and rebook future appointments
- Communicate clearly with groomers and management throughout the day
- Take post-groom photos of dogs at PawStar Studios
- Safely handle dogs of different sizes and temperaments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Support the team with day-to-day salon needs as required
Requirements
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) – REQUIRED
- Extremely friendly, outgoing, and confident personality
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable handling dogs and being hands-on (hair, water, cleaning)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to learn the dog grooming industry and services
- Team player with leadership mindset
- Punctual and dependable
- Be able to carry 50lbs
