Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant (2+ yrs experience) to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in dental assisting, patient care, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists with a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Dentrix.
- Perform vital signs assessment and monitor patient health status before procedures to ensure safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a dental assistant with comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures and clinical protocols.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and data security.
- Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and sterilization processes in a busy dental clinic setting.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a thorough understanding of dental terminology and anatomy for effective patient interactions.
