Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and professional General Manager to lead operations for our upscale Latin-Japanese fusion restaurant. The ideal candidate must have strong restaurant management experience, excellent leadership skills, and familiarity with Latin cuisine, Japanese cuisine, sushi, or fusion dining concepts. This role requires someone who can manage staff, control costs, maintain high service standards, and take ownership of daily restaurant operations.
Responsibilities
Lead daily restaurant operations, including service, staffing, scheduling, guest experience, and team performance.
Train, manage, and hold staff accountable to high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and cleanliness.
Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure food quality, timing, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
Oversee Toast POS operations, sales reporting, cash handling, comps, voids, and closing procedures.
Manage labor costs, inventory, ordering, vendor communication, and basic budgeting.
Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure a high-quality dining experience.
Maintain strong knowledge of the Latin-Japanese fusion menu, including sushi, makis, cocktails, and specialty dishes.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and employee discipline when needed.
Maintain a polished, organized, and professional restaurant environment.
Experience & Qualifications
Previous General Manager experience in a restaurant is required.
Must have at least 3+ years of restaurant general manager or senior management experience.
Experience in upscale, high-volume, sushi, Japanese, Latin, fusion, seafood, or cocktail-driven restaurants is strongly preferred.
Must be familiar with Latin cuisine, Japanese cuisine, sushi, makis, or fusion restaurant concepts.
Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, labor control, inventory, guest relations, and staff management.
Experience with Toast POS is strongly preferred.
Must be professional, polished, well-presented, organized, reliable, and trustworthy.
Must be able to lead under pressure and work nights, weekends, holidays, and high-volume service days.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $6,000.00 per month
