We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure container orchestration solutions.
- Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and related infrastructure.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability on Kubernetes.
- Monitor cluster health and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
- Implement security best practices for Kubernetes environments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrating Kubernetes deployments.
- Stay current with Kubernetes ecosystem developments and recommend improvements.
- Document architecture, processes, and procedures related to Kubernetes operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes administration and cluster management.
- Strong knowledge of container technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Understanding of networking, security, and storage concepts in Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Kubernetes certification (CKA, CKAD) is a plus.
