Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments efficiently.
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation, ensuring proper storage and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by performing routine equipment repair checks and ensuring adherence to safety standards in production.
- Assist with warehouse management system (WMS) entries to track inventory levels, locations, and movement of materials.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by loading pallets onto trucks using pallet jacks or lift trucks while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on inventory control, materials handling procedures, and implementing best practices for warehouse efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, or similar heavy equipment within a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, including load & unload operations and order picking techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following OSHA safety standards in production environments.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is a plus.
- Prior warehouse experience involving manual handling and materials movement is highly desirable.
- Strong basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements; previous warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
