Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or equivalent; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience required
- Previous experience with MRI software
- Previous experience with analyzing and communicating key financial information and investment recommendations
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn specialized real estate software; experience with Argus is preferred
- Knowledge of real estate valuation methodologies including internal rates of return (IRR) and discounted cash flow analysis, cash on cash returns and break-even analysis
- Understanding of income/expense statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Previous experience analyzing and interpreting complex term sheets, loan documents, partnership agreements, and legal documents
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- This position operates primarily in a typical office environment.
- This is a full-time position. Workdays are Monday through Friday with occasional hours outside of regular business hours as needed.
- Some travel is required as needed.
- This position requires the employee to remain stationary, working on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
