Job Summary
We are looking for teachers who are certified in the state of Florida with an active ESE endorsement. However if you are a certified teacher and willing to add on the ESE intent to earn we will cover the cost for you! GREAT INCENTIVES!!!!
- Competitive pay at $35 per hour
- $150 sign-on bonus after joining
- Additional $150 bonus for every 20 consecutive days worked
Duties (Includes but is not limited to the following:)
- Designs and implements appropriate specially designed instruction, accommodations, and supports assigned in accordance with state standards, district curriculum, and students' needs.
- Develops and implements Individual Education Plan (IEP) for students to include present levels of educational performance, special education needs, instructional goals and objective, and he special education and related services required to met those goals.
- Creates a positive educational climate for students with disabilities to learn in an atmosphere of respect and rapport.
- Employs various teaching techniques, methods, and principles of learning to enable students to meet their Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals.
- Observes and evaluates student performance and mastery of standards, monitors student assessment data, and maintains student grades and attendance.
- Manages student behavior in the classroom by utilizing effective classroom management strategies, implementing positive behavior supports and evidence-based interventions, and invoking appropriate disciplinary procedures.
- Performs any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Certification (State of Florida)
- Microsoft Office
Physical Demands
- Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, crawling, handling, keyboarding, talking, and hearing.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
- Able to reach with both dominant and non-dominant hand; overhead.
- Ability to be in a moderate noise environment
