Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff and ensuring quality service delivery
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and safety
- Use POS systems like Toast to process orders, handle cash transactions, and generate sales reports
- Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
- Train new team members on food handling, customer service protocols, and restaurant procedures
- Supervise shift activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Support management in analyzing profit and loss statements to optimize revenue streams and control expenses
Requirements
- Weekends/Holidays/Open, Mid, and Closing Shifts
- FOH Experience
- Demonstrated supervisory or assistant manager experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast; cash handling expertise essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, and food production processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage customer interactions positively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for order processing, inventory counting, and financial analysis
