Position: Preschool Lead Teacher (Age 3 Classroom) Location: Little Explorers Learning Center Type: Full-Time What You'll Do
- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate preschool curriculum
- Incorporate nature-based and hands-on learning experiences
- Take children on outdoor walks and exploration time
- Create meaningful seasonal and sensory activities
- Support social, emotional, and academic development
- Maintain daily communication with families
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment
- Follow Michigan childcare licensing regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Work as part of a supportive teaching team
Applicants must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements for a Lead Teacher. Required: Must be 18 years or older High School Diploma or GED Meet Lead Teacher qualifications through one of the following: CDA (Child Development Associate) Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or related field OR MiRegistry training hours and experience Experience with preschool-aged children preferred CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Able to complete: Background check Fingerprinting
