- Duties: – Telephone switchboard: Answer and distribute calls, take accurate messages and route to the appropriate staff
- Appointment scheduling: Use clinic computer system, assign patients to available doctors’ time according to Scheduling Guidelines
- Clerical duties and other office duties: including — but not limited to — patient greeting and check-in, outgoing calls and internet searches for insurance authorizations, other clerical
- Maintain patient and clinic confidentiality through established procedures.
Skills – Previous experience in an ophthalmic or optometric environment is ideal; similar experience in medical office preferred;
True customer service attitude, quick-learning skills
Collaboration with co-workers and flexibility a must
Aptitude with personal computer, ability to learn and adapt to efficient use of clinic software a must

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
