About the Role
We are hiring a Registered Nurse, Director of Nursing (DON) Skilled Nursing and Rehab Community located in North Central, PA. This is a great fit for an experienced DON—or a strong ADON ready for a first DON role - who leads collaboratively, builds trust first, and implements change thoughtfully over time. take the next step—to lead with a collaborative, supportive style and help provide stability through continued organizational growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead nursing operations across Long Term Care and Subacute Rehab
- Supervise and support a leadership team that includes:
- Drive quality outcomes, compliance, and survey readiness
- Partner with leadership on infection prevention (shared with Unit Managers)
- Coach, mentor, and develop nurses and nurse leaders
- Build relationships and implement change thoughtfully over time
RN - Director of Nursing (DON)
Required:
- Active RN license in State of PA
- Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care experience
- Nursing leadership experience (DON, ADON, Unit Manager)
Preferred:
- Experience mentoring or developing a nursing leadership team
- ADON ready to move into a first-time DON role
- 2+ years of nurse leadership experience mentoring or developing a nursing leadership team within a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care setting.
