Maintenance Technician

We are seeking skilled multi craft Maintenance technicians with experience as a millwright, pipefitter, and/or industrial electrician to join our dedicated team. If you're ready to bring your expertise to a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Safety: Follow LOTO (lockout/Tagout) Protocols and Adhere to OSHA standards, procedures, and regulations.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain/repair production machinery and equipment: Fix Hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, and overhead cranes.
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance: conduct routine preventive maintenance inspections on steel processing machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems: diagnose PLCs, AC/DC drives, motors, and 480v 3-phase power circuits.
- Complete fabrication projects: using torch cutting and wielding (MIG/TIG/Stick) equipment for structural repairs
- Read blueprints: interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately
- Operate machinery such as scissor lifts and forklifts.
- Utilize hand and power tools for various tasks.
- Perform general maintenance, including cleaning, plumbing, and miscellaneous repairs.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a steel or heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
- Education: High school diploma required; technical degree or journeyman card is a plus
- Electrical expertise: Strong Knowledge of industrial wiring , controls , and automation systems.
- Mechanical Expertise: Advanced skills in hydraulic pumps, vales, and precision alignments.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, voltmeters, and power tools.
- Familiarity with NEC regulations and low-voltage systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, safety-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work on your feet for 8-12 hours per day.
- Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment with exposure to extreme temperatures, including hot summer conditions and cold winter conditions.
- Must be capable of accessing and working in confined, cramped, and restricted spaces while inspecting, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment.
- Must be able to climb ladders, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, and work in awkward positions for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials, tools, and equipment as required by the position.
- Must be comfortable working around moving mechanical equipment and industrial machinery while following all applicable safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills are required.
