Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately in patient records
- Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing techniques, and overall oral hygiene habits
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and efficiency
- Provide postoperative instructions and answer patient questions to ensure understanding and compliance
- Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Ohio
- Proven experience in performing dental cleanings, assessments, and patient education
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, infection control standards, and radiography techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and reassure patients of all ages
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to all regulatory requirements

Pay: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour
