What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services according to IEPs
- Complete student assessments and evaluations to identify needs
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans for therapeutic progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain clear and accurate records, ensuring compliance with all state and district requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to goal development and progress monitoring
- Address fine motor skills, sensory processing challenges, and promote student independence in school settings
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Virginia OT license or eligibility to obtain one
- NBCOT certification
- Prior school-based experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication abilities and a collaborative spirit
Schedule & Structure:
- Full-time hours (e.g., 37.5 hours/week)
