Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as slicing vegetables, grating cheese, and portioning ingredients with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring food safety and hygiene compliance at all times
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, knives, mixers, and other culinary tools
- Serve pizzas promptly while ensuring presentation meets company standards for visual appeal
- Follow all food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and ensure customer safety
- Bilingual is a plus
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning or culinary innovation is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff members
