We have an immediate opening for a reliable Driver Manager in our Portland, OR office. We are a 365 days a year 24/7 operation and have multiple shifts and days of the week available.
This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. Our chosen candidate will be eligible for our employee benefits package which includes medical/dental/vision, PTO, and 401k.

Qualifications:
' Previous experience in dispatching, routing, or logistics
' Good written and verbal communication skills
' Knowledge of dry van and refrigerated freight
Responsibilities:
' The Driver Manager oversees dispatching and communication functions to ensure on-time delivery completion
' Communicates with drivers through satellite computers or phones, and assigns drivers to routes
' Ensures drivers are on time and keeps track of status of route and delivery completion
' Interact effectively within all levels of the customers organization
' Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
' Ability to handle sudden route changes or delivery issues is essential
' Acts as liaison and answers incoming phone calls from drivers on the road
' Reviews pictures of merchandise and signatures
' Reports driver issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution
' Other duties as assigned
' Understands DOT Hours of Service
