Job Summary
We are looking for a cashier with or without prior experience. You’d have to help customer, pack food orders, and host.
Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed
- Handle cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times
- Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an attractive and organized store environment
- Assist with merchandising efforts to ensure products are displayed appealingly and in accordance with store standards
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear product information in a friendly manner
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and balancing the cash register at shift end
- Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and POS systems is beneficial
- Ability to perform stocking duties and assist with product demos confidently
