Job Summary

Duties
- Assist in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of project specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and concrete pumps safely and efficiently across multiple job sites.
- Prepare and install formwork (formwork construction) for concrete pouring, ensuring proper measurements and stability.
- Install rebar (reinforcing steel bars) and metal stud framing according to blueprint specifications for structural integrity.
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and surface treatments such as plastering, stucco, and caulking to achieve desired finishes.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to construction workplace safety regulations; assist with concrete cutting and rebar installation as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols diligently, including site inspections, safety gear usage, and compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of general construction processes.
- Mechanical knowledge related to tools, equipment operation, and basic maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical specifications accurately.
- Familiarity with construction estimating concepts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and other heavy equipment safely.
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for hazard prevention.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing techniques including troweling and stamping is desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while following detailed instructions from supervisors or project managers.

Pay: $37.31 - $42.89 per hour
