Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to meet their needs promptly and professionally
- Assist customers with product demonstrations, upselling additional items, and answering questions about store offerings
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card payments
- Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean, organized, and inviting
- Conduct product or loyalty demos to educate customers about features and benefits of various items
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support retail sales goals through effective communication skills, upselling techniques, and attentive customer interactions
Requirements
- Previous retail experience or familiarity with grocery store operations is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for handling transactions confidently
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for team support roles
- Ability to demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail math to optimize sales opportunities
- Friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to connect with customers and team members alike

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Being able to balance the cash drawer and help serve customers in a timely manner
- Provides excellent customer service at all times and greet every customer
- Performs daily station cleaning and maintains a safe work environment
- Complies with company standards on carding customers for all age restricted products
- Prepares hot food, cleans floors and restrooms, stocks and maintains food prep area
- Able to multi task and have the ability to efficiently take care of the customers
- Responsible for the appearance of store . Ensure that it is clean, neat, organized and provides a positive shopping experience for all.
- Responsible for accurate point of sale (POS) customer transactions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and management of the gas pumps and outside appearance of the store.
- Provide support to team members and promote a positive team environment

We are looking for a friendly, dependable individual to join our team. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, communicates effectively, and performs well under pressure. A positive attitude, teamwork, and a strong commitment to service are essential for success in this role.
Candidates must be able to multitask, stay composed in fast-paced environments, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Customer service, retail sales and handling point of sale transactions where you greet customers and help them have a pleasant shopping experience are key to the role.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

COMPENSATION : $17.50 an hour
