American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Infusion unit position requiring a CA RN license, ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification, and at least 2 years of oncology experience.

Outpatient oncology infusion center setting
-
Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (8:00–18:30)
-
40 hours per week with variable days
-
Weekend rotation required on an as-needed basis
-
Role involves handling hazardous drugs in accordance with USP 800 guidelines and NIOSH standards

Active CA RN license required
-
Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification required
-
ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card required
-
Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience required

Prior outpatient oncology infusion center experience preferred

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook)

Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse patient and family audiences

Ability to prioritize patient care and manage time effectively within standardized protocols
-
2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care

Develops and implements individualized care plans incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors

Maintains collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
-
Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for this assignment
