Compensation: Up to $65,000/year base = Depending on Experience
Lead Low Voltage Technician
We are looking for skilled and highly motivated individuals to install security, access control, and fire detection systems, as well as video cameras and other surveillance equipment. Installation responsibilities includes pulling wire, mounting devices, cutting in door locks, pointing and programming cameras, mounting and programming security and fire devices, and programming video management systems and access control systems. As a lead, you may also be responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently and supervising less experienced staff.
Low Voltage Technician Responsibilities
- Prepare for jobs by reviewing sales quote and understanding scope of work
- Manage inventory associated with jobs and truck
- Keep truck neat and orderly
- Perform periodic inventory of truck
- Coordinate with internal project manager and customer contacts when scheduling and executing job work
- Work independently and with other employees or external general contractors in a polite and professional manner
- Complete job paperwork and notes timely and accurately
- Train customers on use of systems
- Must be able to climb ladders, occasionally perform work in high lift equipment, distinguish colors, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Participate in the periodic on call rotation
- Provide basic hand tools for use on the job
- Abide by all Company policies and procedures'
- May require occassional overnight travel out of town (generally not out of state)

- Warehouse Location = North Canton, OH
- Job Site Location = Generally within 2 hours of North Canton
- Generally Dispatched from home (once you have parts for scheduled jobs)

Low Voltage Requirements
- General knowledge of building trades, required.
- Experience with low voltage electrical wiring, required.
- 2-5+ low voltage industry experience, required
- Strong IT aptitude, required.
- Computer networking experience, preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, required.
- State of OH fire license
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screens.
Preferred but not required:
- Knowledge of/with products/ vendors to include:
- Pelco, Hirsch, Open Options, Bosch, and DMP
