- $500 sign on bonus -half paid at 60 days and remaining half at 120 days

- Shifts are : 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11 pm, 3pm - 7pm and 7pm - 7am

Responsibilities:
- Personal Care Assistance: Aid residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Participate in physical activity.
- Work for extended period of time while standing
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
- Medication Management: Assist with medication administration under the delegation of a licensed nurse, ensuring residents take prescribed medications correctly and on time.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to management, including monitoring vital signs and noting any concerns.
- Housekeeping Duties: Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing residents' rooms.
- Meal Preparation and Assistance: Prepare and serve meals according to residents' dietary needs and preferences, and assist residents with eating as necessary.
- Companionship and Social Support: Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 Year of Experience
- Certifications: First Aid certifications, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA)
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Basic understanding of infection control practices.
- Physical stamina to assist with resident mobility and perform housekeeping tasks.
Background Checks: Must pass criminal background checks and drug screenings as mandated by Texas state regulations and facility policies.
This role is essential in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of residents in assisted living facilities, providing both physical assistance and emotional support.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
