Adaptek Systems is looking to add professional toolmakers to program and produce a wide range of unique CNC components used in our custom automation systems and machines. In this position, you would be responsible for programming (conversational or with Mastercam), setting up, running most parts and complete final general inspections to confirm each individual custom part is produced to specification and organized for final finishing processes. This position does not run any high volume production parts but almost all are one off custom parts with a very unique function for the final machine assembly process. Key Responsibilities
- Program our Milltronic CNC vertical mills through the keyboard or Mastercam software
- Complete all set ups with all the required cutting tools to complete the machining process
- Monitor and confirm proper operation of your machine
- Complete visual part inspection to confirm all finished part features are present
- Organize finished parts as needed to move to further finishing operations
- Be available to assist as time permits with other support activities within the toolroom or manual machining if needed
