Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family and Clinical Support Specialist/Clinical Intake Coordinator (FCSS/CIC) to join our team. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of children, youth, and adults to identify needs related to assisting with services
- Provide crisis intervention and management support during urgent situations involving safety concerns or essential resources
- Collaborate with social service agencies, legal professionals, and community organizations to coordinate resources and services for clientele
- Document case progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports in compliance with agency policies and legal requirements
- Facilitate communication between children, youth, adults, and service providers to resolve conflicts and promote positive outcomes
- Supervise assigned interns focusing on the compliance of educational contract
Skills
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and victim rights legislation
- Understanding the short- and long-term psychological impacts of trauma
- Experience working directly with clients across diverse backgrounds in sensitive situations
- Proven crisis intervention skills with the ability to manage high-pressure scenarios effectively
- Excellent conflict management abilities to mediate disputes within individuals or between stake holders
- Familiarity with law procedures relevant to court procedures, protective orders, and victim compensation processes
- Assess crisis reactions, mental health, and the need for immediate counseling.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with children, youth, adults, community partners, and legal services
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining clear communication and attention to detail
