We design, manufacture, and install premium custom cabinetry and are seeking an creative and detail-oriented Cabinet Engineer to join our team. Denovo has been serving the Phoenix area for over a decade and is a premier cabinet company in the valley. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in custom cabinetry engineering using Cabinet Vision. This role is responsible for engineering and preparing production-ready cabinet designs and drawings using Cabinet Vision software. This role works closely with sales, project managers, production, and installation teams to ensure custom cabinetry is accurately designed, manufacturable, and delivered on schedule. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence premium cabinetry projects as part of a dynamic team.

Hours: 7a - 3:30p or 8a - 4:30p
Pay: $50k to $80k depending on experience

Duties & Responsibilities
- Create detailed cabinet designs and shop drawings using Cabinet Vision.
- Convert architectural drawings, field measurements, and customer specifications into production-ready designs.
- Generate CNC-ready machining files, cut lists, and bills of materials.
- Develop accurate cabinet layouts for high-end residential projects.
- Review project specifications for manufacturability and identify potential issues before production.
- Coordinate with sales and project management to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies.
- Produce detailed installation drawings and assembly documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with company manufacturing standards and quality requirements.
- Support production by troubleshooting engineering and manufacturing issues.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for engineering processes and workflows.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Work and Experience Qualifications
- REQUIRED - 3 years of previous residential cabinet engineering and drafting.
- Experience in Cabinet Vision (highly preferred) and 2020 Design or other cabinetry design software.
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods and manufacturing processes.
- Experience generating CNC machining files.
- Experience with Screen-to-Machine (S2M) Center (preferred).
- Ability to read architectural, construction, and millwork drawings.
- Knowledge of woodworking materials, hardware, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Approach work in a meticulous, thorough, and detailed manner.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as determined by the hiring manager.
