Intermodal – Minneapolis, MN (Local)
Avg $80,000–$85,000/yr • $5,000 Sign On Bonus!!

Local Intermodal position operating within a 150 mile radius of St. Paul, MN. Drivers average 1,175 miles/week with a CPM range of $0.48–$0.53, plus activity based pay for drops, live loads, rail work, and yard tasks. New hires average $1,403/week during their first 3–6 months while learning the position.
Schedule:
Tues–Sat, 4:00 PM start. About 50 hours/week (5–10 hour days). Additional hours or extra days available when freight volume is high.
Freight & Equipment:
Day cabs (avg age 2.5 yrs), mostly Freightliners with safety tech. Slip?seat required. 50% drop/hook, 50% live. 100% Intermodal chassis/container freight with a small amount of reefer/TCI.
Occasional alcohol or pork loads. No smoking inside trucks. Bonus:
$5,000 sign?on bonus (paid after first dispatch; must stay in role to receive full payout; not eligible if employed by JBH in past 60 days; bonus pauses during leave).
Exception Pay Plan (Included):
Covers detention, breakdown, rail delay, empty moves, and more — a major earnings driver on this fleet.
Safety Bonus (Included):
Up to $1,000 per year.
PTO & Holidays:
PTO accrues from day one. Holiday pay after 90 days for 6 major holidays. PTO increases with tenure (12–26 days/yr depending on years of service).
Orientation:
Paid online orientation. Reports to Intermodal – St. Paul, MN.
Job Requirements:
Valid CDL A license
At least 3 months of verifiable CDL A driving experience
Wage Range: 80000.00 - 85000.00 per year
