Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Parts Manager and Service Advisor to join our automotive team. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity to lead our parts department while providing exceptional service advice to our customers. As a key member of our shop, you will drive customer satisfaction, optimize parts inventory, and support the service department’s success through expert guidance and sales acumen. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will help create a positive experience for both customers and technicians, ensuring smooth operations and repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Manage the parts department by maintaining accurate inventory levels, ordering parts efficiently, and ensuring timely availability for service repairs.
- Assist customers in selecting the right parts and accessories, providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Upsell additional parts and services to enhance customer satisfaction and shop revenue.
- Collaborate closely with service technicians to identify needed parts for repairs such as transmissions, brake repair, suspension, tire service, oil changes, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repairs.
- Handle service writing duties by preparing estimates, processing work orders, and documenting vehicle repairs accurately.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing inquiries professionally and resolving issues promptly.
- Support the sales efforts by promoting automotive sales opportunities and assisting with vehicle demonstrations when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and parts management.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including transmissions, brakes, suspensions, tires, oil changes, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engines, air brakes, and auto repair.
- Experience in auto service management with skills in upselling and auto estimating.
- Service technician experience or automotive repair background is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage inventory efficiently.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $59,870.41 per year
