Shop Pipe Welder/Fitter
Pay: $30-40/hour
MIELKE Mechanical Holdings, Inc. is growing and we are currently seeking an experienced Shop Pipe Welder/Fitter to join our team. In this position, the employee will be responsible for all aspects welding and pipefitting. We offer competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package and consistent, long-term work. Requirements
- Must be proficient in and able to pass a Pipe Stick test (2” SCH 160 SMAW 6G 6010/7018) OR Pipe Tig test (2" SCH160 ER70S-6)
- Ability to pass a TIG SS pipe weld test a plus
- Experience welding carbon steel, stainless and alloys
- Must be able to fit components into a weldment using drawings.
- Must be proficient at blueprint reading.
- Must be able to follow detailed work instructions, verbal or written to execute job functions.
- Minimum experience how to operate and be proficient with the following equipment: oxy/acy cutting, hand plasma cutting
- Minimum experience or knowledge in Rigid pipe threading and Victaulic a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- ASME experience and certification is a huge plus!
