Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laser cutting equipment to produce precise metal components according to technical specifications. Your expertise will ensure efficient production, uphold safety standards, and maintain the highest quality in every project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial tube laser cutting machine
- Monitor machine efficiency and ensure all equipment is operational
- Perform in process inspections on parts
- Sort and package product into boxes
- Discard non-conforming product and handle according to policy
- Stock machine with raw materials
- Perform adjustments to meet qualify specifications
- Complete daily production records and logs
- Follow all health and safety standards
Position Requirements:
- Good mechanical aptitude-manufacturing or fabrication experience is a plus.
- Experience in the use of standard shop tools and inspection measuring tools, such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings is a plus.
- Ability to sit, stand,and walk throughout work schedule.
- Ability to regularly maneuver up to 50 pounds.
