We are seeking a hardworking and dependable General Laborer to join our Pipe Crew. This role involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utilities including water, sewer, and storm drain systems. Ideal candidates will be team-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to work in outdoor environments under varying conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with pipe installation and trenching operations.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
- Support equipment operators and foremen as needed.
- Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or utility work preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Strong work ethic and punctuality.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
