Overview
Seeking a reliable and customer-focused Liquor Store Associate to join a fast-paced retail environment. This role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking inventory, and maintaining store presentation and compliance with Texas alcohol regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product selection and purchases
- Operate POS system and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
- Check IDs and enforce legal age requirements (strict compliance required)
- Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain product organization
- Keep store clean, organized, and visually presentable
- Assist with receiving shipments and inventory counts
- Support promotions, pricing accuracy, and product displays
- Follow all state and store policies regarding alcohol sales
Requirements:
- Must be 21+ (Texas alcohol law requirement)
- Previous Liquor, or convenience store experience
- Strong communication and basic math skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a regulated, compliance-heavy environment
Preferred:
- Liquor store, convenience store, or retail experience
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory handling
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
