Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clean Up Laborer to join our material yard. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment across various areas of the property. Your efforts will support the overall efficiency of ongoing projects by ensuring debris removal, site tidiness, and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Remove debris, waste materials, and excess supplies from property to maintain a clean working environment.
- Assist with the disposal of construction waste in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Help set up safety barriers, signage, and protective coverings as needed for ongoing work areas.
- Perform routine site inspections to identify potential hazards or unsafe conditions and report them promptly.
- Support the movement and placement of building materials using hand tools and basic heavy equipment under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction practices such as material handling and site cleanup.
- Ability to interpret basic safety instructions, schematics, or technical drawings is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction environments and adherence to safety protocol guidelines.
- Experience with outdoor work environments across various weather conditions is advantageous.
