Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, horizontal drilling equipment, tankers, and paving machines with accuracy and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist in site preparation, grading, excavation, material handling, and transportation tasks across various construction phases.
- Follow detailed work plans and blueprints to execute precise earthmoving and construction activities.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment operation hours, maintenance activities, and site activities for reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during equipment operation and site activities.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators (including Caterpillar models), dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, horizontal drills, tankers, and paving machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on machinery.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely on construction sites while managing multiple pieces of equipment effectively
- Prior experience in construction environments with familiarity in site preparation, grading, excavation, paving or horizontal drilling is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices to ensure a secure work environment. Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
