Job Summary
The Hybrid Inventory Associate is responsible for day-to-day flow of cannabis products throughout the dispensary for storage and/or dispensing at the point of sale. In this role you report directly to the Inventory Manager to ensure that the inventory room is kept in working order, clean, and productive, while abiding by all policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, a sense of humor, a strong work ethic, competitive and team-oriented spirit, and great attention to detail. This role will also be trained to support the retail, delivery, and security teams, providing assistance as needed.
Job Duties
· Assists Inventory Manager with daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inventory audits.
· Assist with intake and labeling of incoming cannabis deliveries
· Move product digitally and physically throughout the retail location to accommodate the store’s needs
· Maintain accurate counts of all cannabis inventory in METRC and POS System to ensure that all information is accurate and perform reconciliations when necessary.
· Remain knowledgeable of all packaging and labeling of products received at Bask
· Document and report any inventory discrepancies immediately to Inventory Manager
· Attend and take responsibility for all trainings and education including, but not limited to, products, compliance, safety, and customer service
· Ensure that all product received is properly tagged according to state and local regulations and is accompanied by all necessary paperwork.
· Communicate effectively, work closely, and successfully collaborate with other managers to achieve the organization’s goals.
· Keep workspace neat and clean
· Keep a clean and well-organized vault area that allows for unencumbered access to products.
· Manage retail stock levels.
· Comply with Bask policies and procedures as well as state law and regulation.
· Assist with coverage for product deliveries, sales floor, and security/check-in booth.
Qualifications
· Minimum 21 years of age (per state regulations)
· Exhibit a positive attitude
· Exceptional attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to collaborate and work with others, while also able to work with limited supervision
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
· Ability to sit at a computer or be on your feet for an extended period
· Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
· Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
· All applicants must achieve a satisfactory completion of an extensive background check as mandated by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
· Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
· Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, cutting and fine manipulation
