Building Kidz Nashville is seeking a dependable, nurturing, and energetic Full-Time Toddler Teacher to join our team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional care and education to children ages 13 to 30 months while creating a safe, engaging, and loving classroom environment.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Pay
$16.00 to $20 per hour
Compensation is based on education, experience, and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- Associate degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- CDA (Child Development Associate Credential).
- Completion of at least 24 college credit hours in Early Childhood Education.
- High School diploma or GED plus a minimum of two years of experience working in a licensed childcare center.
Applicants who do not meet one of the qualifications above will not be considered for this Teacher position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with toddlers (13 to 30 months)
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
- Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
- Maintain compliance with all Tennessee licensing regulations.
- Complete daily classroom documentation and parent communication.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to provide exceptional care for every child.
