Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Journeyman Level Electricians for an immediate start in the Montgomery, AL
- PAY: $28-$32/hour (based upon experience)
- HOURS: Shifts will be 8-10-hour workdays, 5 days per week
- SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Thursday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
- START DATE: ASAP
- Length of the project: 6+ months
Electrician Job Description:
We are looking for an electrician capable of bending and running conduit, pulling wire, and installing light fixtures. Must be able to wire panels, terminate and troubleshoot.
Qualifications for Electrician:
- 5+ years of electrical experience in a commercial/Industrial setting.
- Proficiency with wire pulling, bending and running EMT conduit.
- Ability to terminate and troubleshoot.
- Experience working with 3.5 inch rigid conduit, some PVC, underground work, electrical installation, pulling wire, terminating, and connecting wire to breakers
- Remove and replace electrical switchgear, panel boards, automatic transfer switches, generators and install new cabling.
- Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
- Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
- Must have standard electrical hand tools.
Additional Requirements for Electrician:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site
